Job Description
The Business Development Manager – Transactional will oversee both strategic and day-to-date activities pertaining to the Transactional side of the Firm (Corporate, Real Estate, etc.), as well as various Firm-wide initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience within a corporate law firm and an understanding of the legal industry.
- Experience and understanding of the transactional practices within a commercial law firm.
- Significant experience in the proactive and reactive nature of a marketing department within a law firm.
- Superior writing, proofreading and interpersonal communication skills.
- Charismatic personality and outstanding client service mentality.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Ability to deal professionally with both internal and external clients on all levels.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent judgment.
- Keen analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions and demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related degree.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years of experience within the marketing and/or business development department of a law firm or other professional services firm.
- Advanced understanding of marketing concepts, principles and activities in a B2B environment.
- Meaningful strategic business planning and implementation experience.
