About the Role
A dynamic and fast-paced litigation firm in North Dallas is seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their Insurance Defense team. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator with strong courtroom skills and a desire to work on high-stakes cases in a supportive, growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense litigation files from inception through trial.
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
- Perform legal research and analysis on insurance coverage and liability issues.
- Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel in a professional and effective manner.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and in good standing.
- 3–4 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Strong litigation, trial, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with insurance coverage issues.
- Knowledge of Texas insurance.
- Experience with electronic discovery and litigation support tools.
