Demand Planning Analyst - Houston, TX 77043
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Run and improve statistical demand models for supply optimization and guidance to commercial planners
- Review and enhance forecasting levels and models for accuracy improvement
- Analyze commercial forecasts and collaborate with the team to enhance accuracy
- Prepare and share monthly forecast accuracy reports with stakeholders
- Support logistics planning budget process Analyze market demand fluctuations for improved supply planning
- Serve as the primary expert on customer demand, advising the S&OP team on its impact on sales
- Manage master data for customer segmentation and market information Provide ad-hoc analysis for regional logistics operations
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Proficient in written and verbal communication
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts)
- Experience with data systems like Microsoft Access, SAP BI/BW, SAP IBP preferred
- Familiarity with Python, R, Anaplan, APO, IBP, and other Analytics/Statistical tools Knowledge of statistical forecasting and methodology
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
