HR Project Assistant – Personnel File & I-9 Audit (Temporary)

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist our HR department with a project involving the audit and update of employee personnel files and I-9 documentation for approximately 150–175 employees. Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and updating paper personnel files

  • Auditing and organizing I-9 forms, ensuring proper format and completeness

  • Printing I-9s and organizing them into binders

  • Relocating files to the correct locations

  • Following up on missing or incomplete documentation

  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of all employee information

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Previous HR experience is a plus, especially with personnel file management and I-9 compliance

  •  

This is a temporary project-based role. Ideal for someone with HR knowledge looking for short-term work.
