Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, monitoring outstanding balances, and following up with customers to secure payments. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Follow up on delinquent accounts and arrange payment plans as needed.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in-person to resolve outstanding payment issues or disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions related to accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or billing issues promptly.
  • Prepare and analyze aging reports on a regular basis.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and customer service teams to resolve customer inquiries and ensure smooth payment processes.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Collections and Accounts Receivable.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bilingual.

Working hours are 8 to 5.

Starting pay rate $15/hr. but could be higher depending on experience.

Position is long term.
