Accounts Receivable Clerk
Great Law Firm - Downtown Houston - Hybrid schedule
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for processing cash receipts, preparing bank deposits, opening, and maintaining client matters, and responding to accounts receivable inquiries.  Additionally, the Accounts Receivable Clerk provides support to the Assistant Controller and Collections Specialist with daily requests and month-end reports.

Accounts Receivable Clerk Qualifications: 
  • Two years of experience working in an accounts receivable position, preferably in a law firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with billing and accounting software.   Elite 3E software is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills including ability to work with others in a results-oriented team environment.
  • Inquisitive nature and demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment to successfully create and implement organizational change.
  • Demonstrates analytical capacity and strong business/financial acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening skills.
