Accounting Assistant
Job Description
-
Receive payments from customers
-
Maintain cash drawer
-
Maintain the accounting area
-
File all previous day orders/invoices in customer files
-
Attach file invoice copy backup
-
Email/mail payment receipts and invoices to customers
-
Answer accounting calls to collect delivery payments
PROCESS IN/OUT GOING MAIL
-
Open and date stamp all mail
-
Distribute mail
-
Add postage to all outgoing mail
-
Mail all prior day customer invoices
-
Process all outgoing packages (FedEx, and UPS)
A/R SUPPORT
-
Enter daily credit card/C2P deposits
-
Assist with other AR duties when AR specialist is out
AS NEEDED BACKUP: A/P SUPPORT
-
3-way match invoicing. Receiver to purchase order to invoice. Any issues, work with the inventory supervisor and purchaser.
-
Forward Non-Inventory Invoices out for approval
-
Assist in check runs
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish required
