Job Description
Company that assists the medical field is looking for a Receiving Clerk.
Job Purpose:
Verifies and keeps records on incoming shipments.
Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
Requirements:
Working hours are 7am to 3:30pm with overtime as needed.
$13/hr.
Position could become full time with the company.

Job Purpose:
Verifies and keeps records on incoming shipments.
Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and contacts shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Compares identifying information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- May use hand held scanner to record barcode on incoming products or enter the information into the computer.
- May route items to departments, warehouse, section, or stockroom.
- Operate tier-lift truck or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.
- May direct others in receiving incoming shipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year in shipping/receiving and experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Should be proficient with computers, MS Word, Excel and data entry
- Knowledge of carrier software (UPS, FedEx or DHL) is a plus but not needed.
- Must be able to multi-task and pay great attention to detail.
