Job Dimensions:
- Manage 2 senior benefit analyst and 1 benefits advisor that administers company's Health &Welfare, Cash Balance Pension, Employee Savings and Pension Plans
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of the company's. Health & Welfare, Plans
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of the company's. Employee Savings Plan
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of the company's Cash Balance Pension Plan
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of the company's. Pension Plan that
- Oversee the ongoing administration of the company's Restoration Plan for the Cash Balance Pension Plan, Employee Savings and Pension Plan for RPA, POL, TCV, TAS, TFUS
- Support the Health & Welfare Benefits Administration Committee and the Retirement Administration Committee by attending the meetings and providing assistance with questions related to the Plans.
Key Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day administration and implementation of any new options or changes for the company's Health &Welfare plan by providing guidance on plan provisions to direct report, employees and affiliate HR contacts and issue resolution. Ensure that the plan remains in compliance with all governing bodies.
- Oversee day-to-day administration and implementation of any new options or changes for the company's Employee Savings Plan by providing guidance on plan provisions to direct report, employees and affiliate HR contacts, issue resolution, reviewing and approving weekly funding of 401(k) and noncontributory contributions and overall compliance with Internal Revenue Codes and plan provisions.
- Oversee day-to-day administration of the company's Cash Balance Pension Plan and Pension Plan by providing guidance on plan provisions to direct report, employees and affiliate HR contacts, issue resolution, reviewing and approving funding of quarterly postings of contribution credits and reconciliations, approving calculations for pension disbursements and ensuring compliance with Internal Revenue Codes and plan provisions.
- Oversee ongoing administration of company's Restoration Plan for cash balance, pension and 401(k) provisions to ensure tax calculations and payments are processed according to plan provisions.
- Coordinate and oversee annual projects for Cash Balance Pension, Pension and Employee Savings Plan that include pension valuation, benefit plan audits, periodic financial disclosure needs, annual funding notices, summary annual report and 5500 filings.
- Support the Health & Welfare Benefits Administration Committee by attending the meetings, documenting the minutes of the meetings and providing assistance with questions related to the Plans. Support the Retirement Administration Committee by answering questions related to the Plans.
- Support special projects in the benefits group such as M&A activities, as needed.
Context & Environment:
- The incumbent in this position must have in-depth knowledge and experience in operating within a complex benefits program that encompasses different plan options and provisions that apply across affiliate companies that have differing needs and sometimes limited knowledge regarding benefit plan administration provisions.
- Must possess knowledge of legislation affecting retirement plans (ERISA and Internal Revenue Codes) is necessary to ensure the plan is compliant with all governmental regulations.
- Excellent organization skills are necessary with a strong attention to detail as well as the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet all deadlines within a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in a HR or business-related discipline required.
- 5 – 7 years’ experience within a benefits function with in-depth knowledge of legislation related to retirement plans (ERISA and Internal Revenue Codes) to ensure plans are compliant with legislative and governmental regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
