for developing and executing human resource strategies supporting the business
plan and strategic direction of the organization.
Primary accountabilities
include talent acquisition, compensation and benefits design, performance
management, training and development, compliance, and employee engagement.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Partners
with the leadership team to develop, implement and monitor a talent management
strategy to achieve the organization’s vision and goals.
·
Identifies
strategies to increase staff engagement and retention including leadership and
staff development, regular feedback and coaching opportunities, career pathing
and consistent promotion of the company’s culture and core values.
·
Analyze
metrics and produce reports for leadership including current job activity,
candidate flow and hiring trends.
·
Advises
senior management on establishment of succession plans that align with the
strategic objectives of the company.
·
Develops
and implements performance management processes that ensure managers are
prepared to engage in constructive, ongoing feedback and coaching and encourage
staff to actively participate in identifying and addressing performance gaps in
a timely manner.

Organizes
employee training for key HR matters as well as other employee development
activities.
·
Tracks,
analyzes and provides timely counsel regarding developments in Federal, State
and local employment requirements.
·
Partners
with leadership team to develop a pay/reward system designed to attract and
retain employees. Benchmark, develop and implement competitive employee
compensation and benefit programs including base pay, incentives, annual salary
adjustment/merit process, promotions, reclassifications, employee recognition
and referral programs, etc.

Partners
with benefits advisor to manage the annual open enrollment process to include
vendor quote analysis, plan selection, employee meetings, etc.
·
Rapidly
addresses employee inquiries and provide accurate communication of benefits and
policy information; coordinates FMLA, short- and long-term disability (STD/LTD)
and other leave programs; oversee benefits open enrollment process.

Provides
consultation and resolution support on employee relations matters including
performance improvement plans, internal investigations, progressive discipline
and terminations.
Education and
Experience:
·
A BS/BA degree from an
accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field
preferred.
·
A minimum of 7 years of HR
experience with prior HR management-level experience.
·
Experience implementing
systems for talent management and compensation and benefit programs.
·
SHRM Senior Certified
Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification
preferred.
