Document Specialist- Houston, TX 77072
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented (Financial) Document Specialist/Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating, formatting, and finalizing a variety of financial documents, including reports and statements. This position requires a keen eye for accuracy, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to produce polished hard copy bound reports.
Responsibilities:
  • Create, edit, and format complex documents in Microsoft Word with precision and attention to detail, including checking for mathematical accuracy.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to organize, analyze, and present financial data effectively.
  • Ensure consistency in formatting, style, and layout across various financial documents.
  • Compile financial documents into hard copy bound reports for distribution.
  • Operate 10-key calculators, computers, binding and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of administrative experience.
  • Microsoft Office/Suite proficient (Excel, Outlook, PDF, Word, etc.) with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free documents.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage a wide variety of tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven experience as a Document Specialist/Processor or in a similar role, with a focus on financial document creation.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Professional services experience preferred.
