Job Description

Director of Children's Ministries - Houston Area An organization located in Houston is seeking a Director of Children's Ministries to join their team. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree. Job duties include:
  • Actively supervise and coordinate all aspects of programming on Sunday mornings for Children’s Ministry, including the selection, and/or writing, of educational curricula, and recruiting and scheduling volunteers.
  • Teach in the Christian Education program, as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents through weekly e-news, phone calls, one-on-one meetings, and periodic parent roundtables. 
  • Maintain an energetic presence on Sunday mornings in the Family Table worship service, connecting socially with young families, and offering verbal announcements to promote Children’s Ministry programs.
