Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the financial planning and budgeting process for all entities.
- Manage invoicing, collections, and payments to vendors across all operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping and tax preparation for each entity.
- Maintain up-to-date corporate records and compliance documentation.
- Prepare and present basic summaries of investment holdings and financial positions.
- Implement and refine financial and operational systems, processes, and controls to support the office's growth.
- Serve as a financial advisor to the executive team, contributing to strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A seasoned leader with 5-10 years of broad finance experience, ideally gained in startup environments or small businesses.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA; an MBA is highly desirable.
- Proven track record as a business partner to the chief executive, with finance, accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop financial policies, procedures, and operational models that align with strategic goals.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a collaborative and flexible working style.
- Integrity, proactive approach, and commitment to lifelong learning.
- Effective communicator with notable oral and written skills.
