Demand Planning Analyst - Houston, TX 77043
 Responsibilities
  • Run and improve statistical demand models for supply optimization and guidance to commercial planners 
  • Review and enhance forecasting levels and models for accuracy improvement 
  • Analyze commercial forecasts and collaborate with the team to enhance accuracy 
  • Prepare and share monthly forecast accuracy reports with stakeholders 
  • Support logistics planning budget process Analyze market demand fluctuations for improved supply planning 
  • Serve as the primary expert on customer demand, advising the S&OP team on its impact on sales 
  • Manage master data for customer segmentation and market information Provide ad-hoc analysis for regional logistics operations 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related field 
  • Strong multitasking abilities 
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication 
  • Advanced Excel skills 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts) 
  • Experience with data systems like Microsoft Access, SAP BI/BW, SAP IBP preferred 
  • Familiarity with Python, R, Anaplan, APO, IBP, and other Analytics/Statistical tools Knowledge of statistical forecasting and methodology 
  • Creative problem-solving abilities 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
